The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, television’s biggest night, is finally here, and all of Hollywood’s hottest small-screen celebrities are ready for their close-up.
The show, which airs Monday at 8 p.m. ET live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, will be hosted by “Blackish” alum Anthony Anderson, who guarantees that the night will feel like an intimate dinner party among his famous friends.
Anderson is an 11-time Emmy nominee, but despite never bringing home the golden statuette, the “We Are Family” star is ready to host and doesn’t seem at all deterred by Jo Koy’s epic fail hosting at last week’s 2024 Golden Globes.
“Well, since I’m 0 for 11 in the win/loss category of the Emmys, I figured why not host the award that I covet the most and is missing from my shelf,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “My monologue will be all 11 speeches I had prepared over the years.”
The Emmy Awards will broadcast on Fox and will be available to stream on Hulu the following day.
