New purported photos of the convicted killer on the run after breaking out of a Pennsylvania prison show he has shaved his beard as police said the fugitive may have obtained a vehicle and inched north from the prison he escaped from.

The new details come as some 400 police officers were said to be looking for Danelo Cavalcante, as the manhunt for the escaped criminal entered its 11th day Sunday.

Just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday, police shared new images of Cavalcante, 34, who escaped from a life sentence at Chester County Prison on Aug. 31, CBS News reported.

The images, captured on a Ring camera in East Pikeland Township, Pennslyvania, show a man believed to be Cavalcante sporting a clean-cut look, in favor of the scruffy beard and mustache he donned behind bars.

In the photos, the man believed to be the fugitive show is wearing a black baseball-style hat, a yellow or green hooded sweatshirt, green prison pants and white shoes.

Police on Sunday said they now believe Cavalcante is in possession of a vehicle. While they were unsure of the vehicle’s make, they said it may be white.

Cavalcante, 34, infamously crab-walked up two walls at Chester County Prison to escape Aug. 31.

The 5-foot-tall killer was originally behind bars in the US for fatally stabbing his girlfriend in 2021.

Previously, in November 2017, Cavalcante allegedly confronted a friend in the middle of town in Brazil over money and gunned him down.

Cavalcante made his way around Pennsylvania after making a daring escape.

He eventually made his way to the US using a fake identity, slaying his partner four years later in front of her young son and daughter.

A week after being sentenced to life in August, Cavalcante escaped.

Police said the diminutive perp was “armed and extremely dangerous” after he was spotted stealing a rifle out of a Pennsylvania homeowner’s garage.

Pennsylvania State Police are expected to provide an update during a press conference Sunday.

The latest possible sighting comes as at least 400 officers have been out searching for the dangerous escaped convict, who continues to elude police even after he was spotted twice on Friday.

There have been nearly a dozen confirmed sightings — including two on Friday — since Cavalcante’s escape late last month.

Cavalcante was recently sentenced to life behind bars without parole for fatally stabbing 33-year-old Deborah Brandao, his former girlfriend, while her 7-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son were present in 2021.

He was awaiting transfer to a state facility when he escaped from the prison by scaling a wall, climbing over razor wire and jumping from a roof into a less-secure area to elude guards.

A tower guard who “did not see” or report the killer’s escape was fired Thursday. The guard, an 18-year veteran of the prison, has not yet been identified.
