We’re not going to sugarcoat it.

The Oakland Athletics have had a rough past two years.

Since 2021, Mark Kotsay’s ball club has dumped franchise jewels Matt Olson, Sean Murphy, Matt Chapman, Sean Manaea and Frankie Montas.

Yet, the club has retained some talent.

Former Yankees first round pick James Kaprielian has a solid spot at the top of the team’s rotation.

He’s followed by promising young starters JP Sears, Kyle Muller, Ken Waldichuk and Shintaro Fujinami.

Offensively, the team is led by Ramon Laureano, Jesús Aguilar, Jace Peterson and World Series winners Tony Kemp and Aledmys Díaz.

Plus, outfielder Seth Brown slugged 25 home runs last year.

Even when things are tough, the A’s continue to scrap.

With that being said, they’ll still need all the help they can get from fans at RingCentral Coliseum this season.

Thankfully for fans, tickets won’t cost you an arm and a leg.

At the time of publication, some tickets are going for as low as $8 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Not a bad price for a day at the ballpark.

To sweeten the deal, on select dates, fans will be treated to giveaways like hats, posters, socks, sunglasses and Hawaiian shirts.

And, of course, bobbleheads.

Want to see the A’s slug it IRL at home out this year?

Here’s everything you need to know.

All prices listed above were found at the time of publication and are subject to fluctuation.

Athletics news

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

To start the season, the A’s shocked the world and beat Shohei Ohtani.

That same day, a fan got in a heated verbal altercation with Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon.

You can find more about both stories and all things Oakland A’s in the NY Post’s coverage of the team here.

How to watch the A’s on TV

Fans that prefer to watch Laureano and the squad from the comfort of their own home, you have options.

The five stations we know that will carry A’s games this season are NBC Sports California, ESPN, Fox, Fox Sports 1 and TBS.

Be sure to check your local listings before tuning in to make sure you’re watching on the right channel.
